The action and its result

01

Recall a position

The prepared pages group up to six presets for each of six cameras. Positions must be saved on your own setup.

02

Start a movement

Pans, tilts, zooms and timed loops are included in the configuration design. Every command must be validated with the selected model and firmware.

03

Stop and take over

Stop commands are provided. Their scope must be tested before going live: a software stop does not replace operator supervision.

What connects to what

Stream Deck → USB → Raspberry Pi + Companion → local network → PTZ cameras

On iPad, web buttons connect to Companion on the same network. The iPad acts as a touch control panel, not as the Bluetooth target. Cameras receive commands over the network.

Documented equipment: 15-key Stream Deck MK.2, Raspberry Pi and Companion 5.0.5. Other Stream Deck models, versions and systems require assessment; universal compatibility is not claimed.

The Panasonic AW family, including AW-UE150, appears in the prepared configurations. There is no per-model test record: provide exact model references before an offer. Automatic tracking and on-air switching are not included.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy immediately?

No. Requests are open without payment. The quote will specify tested functions, deliverables and timing.

Is Companion paid software?

Companion is free and open source. You pay for my configuration, integration and assistance. Software and component licences still apply.

Are bookmarks and YouTube guaranteed on iPad?

No. These V4 pages still need hardware testing. Saving the current URL also requires an Apple shortcut and local network: Bluetooth alone cannot read Safari. Opening a public channel does not change the signed-in account.

Where are the files and scripts?

Complete files, detailed settings, scripts and recovery procedures are reserved for client deliverables. Principles, requirements and limitations are explained here.
